Every animal running below carries a real, unclaimed token id. Catch it and that exact specimen mints to you. Claimed specimens never return to the field — if someone takes yours mid-chase, pick another.
Specimens run across the field, each tagged with its real token id. Click one to catch it — that id mints straight to your wallet.
Survey division keeps an open order for one species. Ringed specimens count toward it; the red-reticled ones run faster and build your streak. Fill the order and the next one is issued. No timer — the order is the only clock.

The hunt is a way in, never a gate. Buy any number of specimens directly and the contract assigns the lowest unclaimed ids. This path is always payable — the free catch belongs to the field.

The id on the animal is the id you get. It is not a random draw dressed up as a game — the contract mints that exact token.
One free catch per wallet
Free while the window is open. A failed grab costs nothing but gas: if someone beats you to an id, your free catch stays unspent.
A caught specimen is gone
Claimed ids never respawn. Two wallets racing for the same animal means the first confirmed transaction wins and the other reverts.
Trading is open
No transfer lock, no soulbound clause, and no owner switch to add one later. Sell or move your specimens whenever you like.
